Drop off is 9 AM each day, and pick up is 4:00 PM depending on the afternoon activity, both will be done at The Orchards.

For Moiwa Program, lunch is provided for Monday - Wednesday. For Family Program, participants will need to get lunch on their own (lunch can be arranged for additional cost) Lunch and dinner on Thursday for overnight camping, and Friday breakfast will be provided.

Yes, the camp is in English. Activities are designed to be hands-on and visual so that language barriers are minimized.  No English level is required to join camp.  All staff are kid-friendly and Japanese-speaking staff are available for assistance.

Our programs run in two-week rotations, so your children will experience different activities each week. Variations are also offered for returning families.

Yes, children as young as six months are welcome on the camping trip, additional charges will apply.

If outdoor camping becomes unsafe or uncomfortable, we offer indoor camping as an alternative. We’ll check with participants to decide whether to stay outdoors or move indoors.

Yes, sleeping bags and mat sets can be rented for ¥4,900 per set. Let us know when booking to reserve them.

On Sunday, please aim to arrive by check-in time at 3pm. If your child is traveling alone on the flight, we offer a pickup service with for additional charge and is subject to availability. For airport transfer, we ask that the arrival time be between 10am and 1pm.
On check out day, Saturday your child can be picked up from 3pm, similarly to check in day we can provide airport transfer at additional fee, and ask that departure flight time is after 1pm.

Dormitory-style accommodations with bunk beds for up to 4 campers per room. Each room has its own ensuite shower, toilet, and sink shared among the campers. Boys and girls will have separate rooms. An EdVenture staff will be on-site in their own room to provide supervision and care.
There is a shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and 1 towel per child. Children are required to bring their own toiletries.

Phones are allowed but will be kept by staff during activities. They’ll be given back during free time in the evenings to contact family and share their adventures.

All meals are provided for residential programs. Some activities will allow for the children to cook on their own under supervision. For a full breakdown of meals per day please check the overview page.
