Snowshoe Tours
Snowshoeing provides the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of winter in Niseko. We have four different tours available for you to choose from, available for a 9:30am tour or a 1:30pm tour. Tours are led by an experienced and friendly guide, and suitable to all abilities and ages – children and grandparents alike.
Minimum age to participate: 5 years old.

Igloo Building
Anywhere with large amounts of snow is good for igloo building, and Niseko certainly has plenty of snow!
Your guide will give you tips on the building method depending on the snow conditions at the time and will help you design a sturdy and safe igloo. This is a great activity to do on a family winter holiday in the snow, either over the festive season. Minimum age to participate: 3 years old.

Ice Cream Making
Indulge your sweet tooth and unleash your creativity with our ice cream-making experience! Under the guidance of our expert makers, you'll learn the art of crafting delectable ice cream from scratch. Perfect for families, couples, or solo adventurers seeking a hands-on culinary adventure, Ice Cream Making promises a fun-filled experience that will leave you with lasting memories and a delicious treat to enjoy. Minimum age to participate: 3 years old.

Kabayama Ridge Line
This trail will start from The Orchards Clubhouse and take participants along the ridge line overlooking Country Resort with uninterrupted views of Mt. Yotei. Along the way, there may be the opportunity to stop off at the EdVenture snow swing and an outing wouldn't be complete without a hot chocolate stop to take it all in.
This trail is ideal for families who have not snowshoed before, or groups who are looking to capture a unique view of Mt Yotei, perfect for photo opportunities (weather conditions permitting).
Asahigaoka Loop
A short drive away from the ski resort in the neighbouring town of Kutchan, home to its local ski hill called Asahigaoka which has some beautiful snowshoeing trails during the winter months. Starting with a walk up to through the forest before reaching the top of the ski field to give you clear views of Mt. Yotei and Kutchan town (weather permitting).
This trail would be perfect for older adventurous families who have snowshoed before or groups who are looking to go beyond the Grand Hirafu area and see this snowy wonderland from a different perspective.
Lake Hangetsu
After a short drive away from the ski resort, this trail will start at the base of Mt Yotei.This trail will start with a walk up to the edge of the crater before we are treated to views of the crater lake and possibly the peak of Mt Yotei (weather permitting). We will then have the options of moving around the ridge line of the crater or take a walk down to the lake itself.
This trail would be perfect for older adventurous families people who have snowshoed before or groups who are looking to see beyond the resort boundaries.
